Beledweyne, (insidesomalia.org) - Reports from Hiran region the headquarters of Hiran region in central Somalia says that Ethiopian troops entered inside Baladweyn town and erected new bases.
The Ethiopian troops reached the town at late last night and when these forces entered the town the sounds of bullets could be heard though it is not sure who was firing whom.
Some reports from the region also say that the deputy commissioner of Baladweyn Mr. Abdi Hussein Gedi returned from Ferfer location in the boundary between Ethiopia and Somalia to Baladweyn town along with the Ethiopian soldiers.
Likewise the former regional commissioner of Baladweyn town, who has evaded from the town after forces from the Islamic Courts Union conquered the town, is said to have returned to the town, but disarmed by the Ethiopian troops.
On the other hand the newly appointed provincial commissioner is expected to reach Baladweyn town the first time since appointed as new region commissioner by the Somali premier Noor Hassan Hussein Noor Ade recently.
Some reports from the region says that the main reason as to why the Ethiopian troops reached Baladweyn town is to offer full support to the newly appointed PC in the province till he gets an absolute control in the entire region.
It is like that the armaments confiscated from the former regional commissioner would be handed over to the new provincial commissioner of Hiran Region.
